The Motorola DTR2450 s digital technology allows users to call individual radios and up to 50 groups of radios. It enables SMS text messaging and is easily programmable to define a group of radios within a range. The DTR2450 also features capability for up to 25 pre-programmed messages, a remote monitor, remote disable/enable of another Radio  and a rapid one-hour charger for its 19-hour high capacity battery.
